  • Disney Resorts are selling all of their cabins from their Fort Wilderness Resorts
  • The one bed-one bath homes come fully furnished and sleeps six
  • The new cabins will open June 1 and reservations can be made end of September

Disney Resorts are selling all of their $50,000 cabins from their Fort Wilderness Resort to make way for a new, dazzling resort.

The 500 square foot cabins, which are functionally considered to be 'tiny homes' were built between 1998 and 2001. The fully furnished one bed-one bath homes also come with A/C, working appliances, and sleep six.

The official website for the cabins has listed them at $49,900. Every unit has been sold as of April 12, pending completion, and will be relocated to the buyer's property.

J&J Venture Group, a local Orlando business, is helping with the construction of over 350 new cabins for the upgraded Fort Wilderness Resort and the Disney Vacation Club member program.

The new cabins will begin opening in phases on July 1 of this year. The floor plan will replicate that of the old cabins, but include upgraded amenities and a more modern look.

Guests can begin making reservation at the new resort at the end of September.

Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground was founded in 1971 with the hopes of creating a woodland paradise in the otherwise tropical state of Florida.

Offering both cabins and campsites, Fort Wilderness is a great place for families who vacation for longer periods of time and don't mind a day or two outside of a theme park.

Wood paneling on the walls, faux-wood furniture, woodland-themed lighting fixtures, and framed images of the beloved characters making magic in the woods make for a perfect Disney-themed camping getaway.

The cabin also comes with an HDTV, a sleeper sofa that can be made into a double bed, and a dining table are all located in the living room.

A queen bed and bunk bed, closet, dresser, and smaller HDTV is included in the one bedroom.

Each cabin comes with a fully-equipped kitchen. Appliances aside, the cupboards are stocked with saucepans, measuring cups, a skillet, a cutting board, six sets of flatware, mason jar mugs and more.

There is also a dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker.

The bathroom area features two sinks and a vanity separate from the toilet and shower.

For outdoor dining, the cabin features a wood porch with a picnic table.
